Hello, I’m Serena — a mama first, an artist always, a lover of light, sister to many, and above all, a human walking this sacred path of life.
Photography has been woven into my spirit since I was a teenager, wandering through nature with a camera gifted by my father—an offering that lit the first spark of creative wonder in me. His belief in my vision planted a seed that would grow into something much greater than a hobby. It was a gentle reminder of how meaningful it is to have our creativity seen and nurtured from the start—and it’s something I carry with me in every photo I take.
While I have long adored documenting the beauty around me, it was the birth of my own child at age 19 that changed everything. Having my birth captured on camera was transformative. It allowed me to see the raw power, the softness, the strength, and the sacredness of that moment through a lens that honored it. That experience cracked my heart wide open and awakened a deep, soul-led calling to become a birth photographer myself.
For the past five years, as I’ve journeyed through motherhood, I’ve been drawn again and again to the stories that unfold in the quiet, the chaotic, the miraculous spaces of life. My greatest passion is honoring the sacred transition into motherhood—capturing birth, pregnancy, and postpartum in a way that reflects the essence of your story with reverence and truth.
